Recycling

24 East Washington currently practices dual-stream recycling, which means paper will be collected separate from bottle and can materials.

Paper recyclables should be discarded in the receptacles located at each desk. Most of these receptacles will not have a plastic liner. The following are examples of paper recyclables:
  • Mixed Use Paper (copy, letterhead, envelopes, etc.)
  • Cardboard
  • Newspaper
  • Magazines

Recyclable cans and bottles should be discarded in appropriately marked receptacles. These receptacles will be lined with white or clear trash bags. Please empty the contents of your items before placing in the recycling receptacle. The following are considered recyclable:
  • Aluminum Cans
  • Plastic Drinking Bottles
  • Plastic Containers
  • Glass Bottles
  • Tin or Steel Cans

Ecotronix is a service that will recycle any e-waste we have at the building free of charge, except for CRT Monitors and Tube Televisions. If you have any e-waste ready for recycling, please submit a work order for pickup.
